life: August goals

August

July was a highly emotional month. I went through a major life crisis and dealt with a lot of stuff that I don’t really want to talk about in a public forum (I know, vague). That is all to say that it was not as great as it could’ve been, but I tried to keep my head up all the same. It was not the most productive for writing (I only wrote on 5 days, totaling just under 5000 words for the month). I had a bit of a writer’s crisis and did some serious thinking re: current projects and long-term goals. My health could be better, but I’m still trying to figure out how to supplement for PCOS and hypothyroidism (I have a checkup in September, so I’ll get a better sense of my thyroid levels after the last year). I’ll probably film a video on my current supplements, but I want to wait a few months to measure results (hurray for the scientific method!).

So why am I going on about July when I’m supposed to be going over August goals? Because August is going to be a slow, thoughtful month for me, as far as goals are concerned. I’m keeping it simple and focusing on finishing the things I started: WIP #4, Harry Potter #4 (coincidence?), Whole30 (a proper one, not Paleo-ish modifications), and a second round of the HBSG fitness plan.

Just keep swimming.
